Rock the Flock averages about 22 weddings each year
With hundreds of weddings under our belts over the course of 25+ years, you can be assured that everything will be handled appropriately, and that a great time will be had by all. There is no substitute for experience. Almost half of our weddings are from people that have seen us before, or were referred by someone that has.
Start to Finish
Rock the Flock is completely set up, and fine tunes the sound for your room, before the first guest arrives. We assist in smooth transitions by assuming the role of Master of Ceremonies, or “MC”. We have background music playing during the social hour. We do the “Grand Entrance” of the Bride and Groom and wedding party. We announce the cutting of the cake. We facilitate the meal blessing. We play light instrumental background music during the dinner. We also provide a wireless microphone on the head table for greetings and toasts. This goes through our sound system for exceptional clarity and coverage. We can also provide a projector and screen for your photo montage and send the background music to our sound system wirelessly. We work with the Banquet Manager and Photographer to make sure everything runs smoothly and nothing is missed. When it’s time to start the dance, we’re set up and ready for your first dance as Husband and Wife. Once the dance starts, we do not take breaks. From start to finish, Rock the Flock has you covered.
The Owner, Chuck Towns, DJs every event personally
We have one DJ system, so our full attention is devoted to your wedding only on your date. We never subcontract with another company. The person that you pre-plan with is the person doing your reception. Every wedding also includes a 2nd DJ to run the light show, help with interactive activities and line dances, and to assist your guests with their requests. Chuck Towns has attended DJ conventions in Chicago and Minneapolis. Through the various seminars, he continues to hone his skills and keeps current with the latest developments and trends. Add education to 25+ years of experience, and you get a truly professional Entertainer.
Customized
Chuck Towns meets with each couple personally at his office 2-4 weeks before the wedding. This is your chance to tap his 25+ years of experience in planning your custom reception. He’ll discover the mood, feel and level of energy that you desire. You’ll discuss the timeline for the day and what you would like for music and activities at the reception. For example: First dance, Grand March, Father/Daughter dance, Bouquet/Garter toss. Etc. It is also the time to make a few specific song requests. No two Rock the Flock weddings are ever the same.
A little something for everyone
Our 10,000+ song library includes all styles of Christian music as well as clean mainstream music that people from all generations and backgrounds enjoy. Our music includes big band, 50’s/60’s, disco, 80’s and right up to today’s current hits. Of course, we guarantee that no songs will be played which include references to sex, drugs, alcohol, violence, disrespect to females or profanity. Remember, our motto is "good, clean fun with good, clean music." We also encourage song requests from your guests, but only play the ones that are appropriate. In addition to the traditional wedding dances, we also have a variety of interactive activities that involve guests of every age. Some you’ve seen before, and some that are our own signature creations.

Outdoor Weddings
What’s wrong with this picture? That’s right. You can’t hear the vows because there is no sound system.

Getting married outdoors? Rock the Flock can provide and operate the sound system. You will be able to hear the minister, the vows, instruments, vocalists and readers. We can also play seating, processional and recessional music.
